Gayle has been a professional body worker since 1989 starting her practice in San Diego, California and presently in  Asheville, North Carolina since 2006.

Her business name, Holistic Symmetry, means balancing the whole person (body, mind and spirit), and this is exactly what
Gayle focuses on in her work.  

Gayle is a practitioner and Continuing Education Provider and specialized in Cranial Sacral Therapy/Somato Emotional Release and Basic Lymphatic Drainage. Other modalities offered include Massage Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and Chakra Balancing. Cranial Sacral Q/A

Gayle is also working on her studies to become a Master Herbalist through The Clayton College of Natural Health.

Gayle received her basic training at Body Mind College in 1989. She continued her studies at the School of Healing Arts, receiving her certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner and completing over one thousand hours of education.

In November 1993, Gayle received her National Certification from the Board For Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.

Since 1989 Gayle has been the head of Holistic Symmetry, specializing in the health of both body and mind. In addition to her private clientele, Gayle has serviced government agencies, financial institutions, hospitals, airlines and senior centers. She subcontracts with local chiropractors, physical therapists, doctors, psychologists and several health care facilities.


Gayle is an active member of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, PNG and Meetup networking groups and can be found on Facebook and Linkedn virtual social networks. Gayle volunteers her services for several community groups such as Asheville Downtown Association and is past Vice-Chair and still an active member of the Mayor’s Committee for Veteran Affairs. Gayle is also Executive Director for Helios Warriors, a 501©3 non-profit Health Care Program for Veterans which offers complementary and alternative therapies.

Since 1992 Gayle has been a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals organization, a national group that provides policy and procedures, insurance, and referrals to its members. The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork approved Gayle  as an Individual Continuing Education Approved Provider.
